①　Customized: Marble Carved 2.9m Athena Statue---Installed in the United States

Our U.S. client wanted a large Athena statue as a centerpiece for his property. Based on the client’s vision, we first recommended the fiberglass version—lightweight, durable, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor display. The client was impressed by the design and proportions of the sculpture but expressed a strong preference for natural white marble to achieve a more classical and elegant appearance.

To meet this request, our design and production teams collaborated to recreate the sculpture in premium white marble, carefully preserving every detail of the original design. The result combined the artistic beauty of the Athena figure with the timeless quality of marble craftsmanship. This project perfectly demonstrates our ability to adapt to different materials and fulfill clients’ specific needs with precision and artistry.

Carving Process:

Once the natural white marble block was selected, our sculptors began the carving process by carefully following the approved fiberglass model. We combined advanced CNC rough shaping with hand-carved detailing, ensuring that every fold of Athena’s robe, every curve of her armor, and every facial expression was rendered with precision and artistry. This combination of modern technology and traditional craftsmanship allowed us to achieve perfect proportions and lifelike details throughout the marble Greek statue.

While Athena’s body is carved from natural white marble, the shield is cast in bronze for strength and durability. A marble shield of this size would be heavy and fragile, placing too much stress on the statue’s arm and increasing the risk of cracking during transport or over time. By using bronze, we achieved a lighter, stronger, and more durable solution. Additionally, the bronze also contrasts beautifully with the white marble, enhancing the sculpture’s visual impact and heroic character.

Finished:

The marble figure and bronze shield come fully assembled, ready for display. We aim to provide a hassle-free experience, taking care of every detail for our clients.

The Customer's Additional Order After Three Years:

Three years later, the custom-made stone sculpture of Athena was still in perfect condition. The customer asked us to make a base for the above concrete pedestal. The base is composed of four relief panels.

The customer asked for a relief for the panels. We designed it based on the client’s ideas and specific requirements. Our talented designers first created a hand-drawn concept sketch for the client’s review, and then developed a detailed CAD drawing for final confirmation. Throughout the process, we maintained close communication with the client to ensure every detail met their expectations. The client was very satisfied with our design and highly praised our creativity, design capability, and professional customization service.

After the design was confirmed, the next crucial step was ensuring that every panel would perfectly match the existing concrete base. In addition to artistic precision, accurate dimensions were essential to guarantee seamless installation and long-term stability. We carefully considered the carving depth and panel thickness to achieve both visual perfection and structural safety during transportation and installation. Our skilled sculptors then carried out the entire relief carving by hand, ensuring every line and detail reflected the original design with outstanding craftsmanship.

After the sculpture was completed, we once again received positive feedback from the client regarding our custom pedestal panels.
